The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is recognised worldwide as offering one of the main routes to a senior managerial position.
ARU London offers the option of starting your MBA in March, June, August or October. Our course takes approximately 18 months and costs £14,500 for the complete course.
This course is designed for professionals who are looking to improve their leaderships skills and broaden their theoretical knowledge of business and management. Over the course of your MBA at ARU London, you will acquire a deeper knowledge of the key business functions including finance, marketing and human resource management and you will also gain a greater appreciation of the importance of the different functional areas to the overall success of the business.
Importantly, the programme will develop your understanding of successful business strategy and effective leadership management and you will study the influence that global and national environmental trends have on a company. This programme focuses on interactive learning, encouraging you to apply your theoretical learning to add value to your business as you progress through the course. As part of this programme you will meet senior leaders and participate in course related industry visits.
Recognising that nowadays much business is conducted across international boundaries and that globalisation is a phenomenon that affects all organisations, the focus of ARU London’s MBA is very much on the specific challenges facing organisations that have global operations or that transact business internationally, be they cultural, ethical or environmental.
Please note that due to the delivery approach of this programme, students studying this course are not eligible for Tier 4 Sponsorship.
Structure and content
We offer flexible weekend part-time study over 12 months with modules delivered over five intensive weeks, Friday - Sunday.
The modules have been carefully designed to enhance the executives’ knowledge, skills and competencies in key strategic, financial and management areas.
Six core modules form the backbone of the MBA curriculum;
- International Executive Leadership and Management and Cross Cultural Leadership (30 Credits)
- International Business, Society and Strategy (30 Credits)
- International Financial Management, Operations and Quality (30 Credits)
- International Marketing, Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (30 Credits)
- International Management Information Systems and E-Commerce (30 Credits)
- Dissertation (8-10,000 words)

Teaching and assessment
Students are assessed through a variety of methods including assignments, case-study analyis and group work.
It is our view that the analysis of an organisation provides an opportunity to draw on knowledge and experience gained from previous studies and work experience, to demonstrate the ability to cope with incomplete information in a way that reflects situations likely to be faced in a future career as a senior manager.
As a result, all of our assessments are structured for students to apply academic knowledge, life experience and theoritical theories to real world problems.
Students must have obtained:
A recognised Bachelor's degree at a minimum of 2:2 classification or equivalent qualification in any subject from a recognised UK or overseas institution.
You will be expected to have three years of senior managerial experience.
Have previously been taught in English and have sufficient command of English to undertake postgraduate study or have an IELTS (or equivalent) score of 6.5 or better.
