This course will give you an excellent grounding for a career in contemporary marketing. The course explores a wide range of topics including the rise of global brands, interactive marketing and how technology is shaping marketing practices.

Upon successfully graduating you will be well equipped to work in a range of marketing roles, either within an agency or the marketing department of an organisation. You can also work as an advertising executive, marketing manager, communications manager or in other marketing-related roles.
This course is delivered as part of a partnership between the University of Roehampton and QA Higher Education. The programme is validated by the University, and taught by QA Higher Education.
The foundation year (Year 0) is carefully designed to build your confidence in your abilities, develop essential academic and study skills, and provide the subject specific knowledge essential for success. You will study a mix of English and Maths skills modules, whilst covering an introduction to business.
In Year 1, you will build a further understanding on the broader business subject area, before starting to specialise in the field of marketing.
In Year 2, you will have the chance to explore marketing in more depth. You will study marketing-specific modules such as Digital Marketing and Consumer Behaviour as well as more generalist business modules. These modules will allow you to develop your understanding of how marketing fits within businesses and developing key transferable skills that are valuable for any successful manager.
In your final year, you will further develop your marketing knowledge and explore the role of marketing within a global context and key marketing principles and strategies. You will also produce your dissertation in a marketing topic.
